Credentials

Mary Anne’s formal education includes a BA in Mathematics and a Masters in Business Administration. She is a Certified Attribute Index Analyst, Certified DISC Index Analyst, and Certified VALUES Index Analyst.

She is a certified affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation (RAC). RAC is an international network of senior-level business development and performance improvement professionals. The RAC affiliation provides scalable resources to work with businesses of virtually any size.

Continuous Education

Mary Anne is a permanent student of life and business. She attends conferences 4-5 times a year to continually update her knowledge, skills and contacts in the Internet and business coaching industries.

Understanding that the best way to learn something is to teach it, she has developed and delivered dozens of speeches, seminars and workshops on a wide range of business topics.

She also reads 30-40 books a year on related topics as well as follows the blogs of leading thinkers. She has started and manages several book discussion groups. And she is a member of the Business Builders chapter of BNI-NENY.

Community Leadership

Mary Anne has served in various roles for business and community organizations such as Rochester (NY) Chapter of NAWBO, Western NY Chapter of PDMA, and Writers and Books. She was twice president of the Rochester (NY) Professional Consultants Network. She is an avid networker who loves to connect people and share information. She never leaves home without her business cards!

Awards and Recognition

• In October 2008 Business Vitality LLC was named Business of the Month by the Webster Chamber of Commerce in recognition of Mary Anne's contributions to the community and quality of life in the areas.
• Mary Anne received Xerox Team Excellence and CIO Leadership Awards.
• Shew was nominated for the 2001 and 2004 ATHENA Awards sponsored by the Women’s Council.
• Her client, Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care won the 2000 Freeman L. Parr Award for Outstanding Communication Achievements in the Field of Commercial Arboriculture for their website.
